Lenovo’s a6000 was a very successful smartphone some months back. But it’s sale reduced very much when the companies like Xiaomi and Micromax started giving smartphones with a 2 GB RAM at the same price point. This is the reason that Lenovo decided to increase the RAM in their a6000 smartphone so as it can be in the competition. The upgraded version is named as Lenovo a6000 plus and is now available to buy online. The Main Difference between Lenovo a6000 & a6000 plus is of the RAM and Internal Storage, but this changes the whole functionality of the smartphone and that’s why we decided to write a completely new review for this smartphone. The Pros and Cons of using this smartphone are mentioned below.

Display
The A6000 Plus has a 5 inch screen, which a little larger than an average display.
The
screen has a resolution of 1,280 pixels by 720 pixels, making it a 720p
HD screen. Screen sharpness can be measured in the density of pixels
per square inch of screen, and at 294 PPI, it's sharper than most smartphone displays.
Dimensions and Design
The phone's body is 141.00 mm high, 69.90 mm wide, and has a depth of 8.20 mm, 7.9% thinner
than an average smartphone in the 4.6 - 5.0 inch screen range. In fact,
it's thin enough to have a case and still be thinner than an average
phone.
With a weight of 128 grams, it is one of the lighter
phones for the size of its screen. This device's battery is larger
than typical for its size, which also gives it some extra weight.
Processor and Memory
The
A6000 Plus houses a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 system on
a chip. Its CPU runs at 1.2 GHz, which is about typical for clock
speed.
2,048 MB of RAM means that it has much more memory than what's typical, giving it a significant performance boost over most phones.
Camera
The A6000 Plus has a 8 megapixel rear (primary) camera, which will produce high quality photos. Its 2 megapixel front camera makes it an average choice for selfies. It can capture 1080p high definition video with its primary camera, which is second only to 4K in terms of recording quality.
Storage
The
base model of the A6000 Plus has 16 GB of internal storage, which is a
modest amount for storing an operating system along with music,
pictures, and video. Fortunately, you can cheaply expand its storage by
as much as 32 GB with a microSD card.
The A6000 Plus has an advertised talk time of 22 hours, significantly longer
than the overall average of 8 hours. In terms of battery capacity,
which is the best indicator of overall battery life, it holds 2,300 mAh,
an above average battery capacity for a phone.
The Verdict
The Lenovo a6000 plus is definitely much better than its predecessor i.e. Lenovo a6000, but still it is just an average smartphone in this price range and it also doesn’t offer any big advantage over the Yuphoria which is ruling this market now. So, we advise you to go for the YU Yuphoria which is priced at Rs. 500 less than this one. Our Rating for this Smartphone will be 3.5 out of 5.
